This Authentic and Rare Signed Eisenberg Necklace was Beautifully Designed featuring Vintage, Handmade, Italian Murano ~ White & Blue ~ Glass Latticino Wedding Cake Beads, with lovely accents of Blue Swarovski Faceted Crystals, Vintage, Ornate Brass Filigree Beads Caps and a Signed Eisenberg Hook Clasp.
These Fine Quality Italian Beads were handmade by skilled artisan bead makers in Murano, Italy. Many layers of different colored molten Glass were fused together on a metal rod until a desired shape was achieved. The Beads were then Decorated Artistically with Shimmering Trails of Metalic Copper Aventurine, Swirling fused Blue & White Ribbons & intricately designed Glass Overlays of rosebuds & forget-me-not flowers. Among Venetian Glass Beads, these are considered to be one of the finest and most beautiful of the handmade beads.
Necklace measures approximately 18 inches in length, including the extender chain. Largest Bead measures approximately 15 mm x 15 mm.

*** In 1914, Eisenberg & Sons began selling women’s clothing in Chicago. Jewelry was initially used decoratively, as a prop, to enhance the clothing & make it more attractive to customers. However, the customers were more interested & intrigued by the jewelry than they were by the clothing, so the company decided to design and sell jewelry and discontinue clothing. In the 1930’s & 40’s the Company became famous for its replicas of 18th century fine costume jewelry and are known for their Fine Quality, Superior Craftsmanship, Attention to Detail and their use of Swarovski Crystals, Rhinestones & Glass Beads to add dazzle to their Jewelry Pieces.
The Eisenberg mark was used between 1945-1950.
